You'll get everything you need! From a journal to stickers to sparkling extras — all materials are included. Just bring yourself (and maybe a friend!).

- 1 blank 10.5" x 7.5" mixed media art Journal

- Stickers, background papers, and embellishments that apply to your kit (plus some extras on hand)

- Glue tape, scissors, and all the fun crafty things.

I'm not crafty or artsy, but this sounds fun. Is this for me?

No art degree required. These workshops are about play, creativity, and fun — not perfection. If you can cut paper and stick a sticker, you're already a junk journaler at heart. Promise.

PLUS - There will be example printouts for you to take a look at for inspiration. 

This is a busy time of year. What if I can't make it?

 

That’s exactly why this exists. Two hours to unplug — just enough to reset your mind without taking over your schedule. Think of it as self-care with scissors and sparkle.

BUT.... if you'd like to try this but are worried about committing - just let me know... Feel free to pick a kit, and I'll send it to you. You can give it a try at home, then join our next workshop (because you'll probably fall in love with junk journaling)

I'm an introvert, and being in a group of  "strangers" makes me uncomfortable. Should I sign up?

Same, friend. ✨ (well.. I'm an introverted extrovert LOL) But don't worry! This is a relaxed, no-pressure space — chat if you want, stay quietly creative if you prefer. There's no awkward icebreakers, no "performing." Just a cozy table, supplies, and your imagination.

You can even plug in your earbuds and listen to tunes if you prefer. We won't mind!

Can I bring my kids?

While we LOVE creators of all ages, this particular workshop is best for older kids (middle school and up). 

I've never Junk Journaled before, will you tell me what to do?

You’ll get everything you need to dive in — including examples, starter ideas, and a themed kit packed with inspiration. But how you create your pages is totally up to you. Guidance without rigidity.

However, I'll be walking around offering ideas and insights as you go. The beauty of Junk Journaling is that it can be anything. There are no "real" rules which makes this type of crafting so easy to lean in to. 

What if it isn't fun? Will you refund my fee?

 

Life’s too short for something to not be fun. If you don’t enjoy your experience, just let us know and we’ll make it right. Your happiness matters.

Hi! I’m Kate — wife, mom of four, lifelong book nerd (especially Romantasy), and the owner of Milady’s Mythical Market.

 

I created these workshops as a way to slow down, reconnect with our creative side, and make a little magic with paper, scissors, and imagination. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or haven’t picked up a glue stick since middle school — you’re in the right place. ✂️✨
